A great song of praise (In the Garden) ..Well done. This hymn can be played in the key of “C” follow along on your "EAST:TOP (Diatonic) Blues Harmonica” The very best Harmonics ever made”.. If you don’t have one buy one now ... better yet .... buy the whole set of 12 Harmonicas "NOW ... yes today!" They are the very cheapest Harmonicas you can buy , if you buy them from the Bay-E they are shipped free. (and they last a lifetime). I could never see myself playing any Harmonica except an East:top Harmonica. I will be making a cover of this song….soooooo…Look for it! NOW Subscribe and ding the bell! Eli: “King of Rock & Roll Harmonic”. check my channel out ruclips.net/video/l6XwYBocwno/видео.html

Flo was always my favourite Supreme. Just something about the way she sounded, and held herself. Then there were those ad libs! Not to mention how pretty she was. Not saying Mary or Diana weren't something else either, but for me it was Miss Flo all the way.

Good Lord...Flo was the prettiest (she wasn't) Flo had the best voice (she didn't) If it wasn't for Flo there would be no Diana Ross (don't make me laugh)

Flo had a heavier soulful texture voice & Diana’s voice was light softer texture - Wilson had a little of both textures. but the blend worked.

Based on this performance, had she played her cards right we should have never heard of Jean Terrell. That "voice," all things being equal, would have lead Stoned Love and all the other hits from the 70s SUPREMES.

So sad the way she lived and died. She was very young and treated unfairly as a member of The Supremes . . I always like her. She was way too young when she passed.

Beautiful, soulful voice. She doesn't have the pop music tone and that's not bad at all lol.

  • @ladyrachel13

Not a good song or arrangement to showcase her talent. She was the original lead singer in the Supremes but Berry Gordy had other ideas that included Diana Ross. Diana Ross was a young ambitious woman who did everything to please the man in charge but that came with a high price. It wasn't all beer and skittles for her.

I did a paper on Flo in college. This song hit different for Flo she was violated so these lyrics hit different because it hit different for me I pray her soul is at rest and Dirty Diana’s guilt fucks with her

All respect to the talent of Flo and Many, but Diana had a more unique and distinctive sexy voice with childlike overtones. Also Diana was an accomplished fashion designer and a very flexible and natural dancer which worked in favor of making the 10 hit streak the Supremes experienced possible.

It's a Pass for me! She seems to need vocal training on what notes to hold and the ones to embellish. Would I buy this? NO! Do I want to hear it again? Not this version!

Struggling to cope with the label's demands and her own depression, Ballard turned to alcohol for comfort, leading to arguments with Ross and Wilson. Ballard's alcoholism led to her missing performances and recording sessions. Florence had been allowed back into the group to complete some dates, while Cindy's contract release was done with the Bluebelles. Flo was in bad shape. She was quite heavy and quite erratic, and her mood swings were severe, as anyone traumatized would be. On July 20, 1967, the marquee at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas had been changed from “The Supremes”, to “Diana Ross and The Supremes” by Berry Gordy's insistence, and Flo went off on BG. No employee is allowed to show up to work intoxicated: ANYBODY would be fired for that. The truth of the matter is that Motown had given Flo a second and third chance, but both Diana *AND* Mary agreed with Gordy that she had to go. They were not happy about doing this, because the group was so hot, that a change of this magnitude could have a disastrous impact. Mary has said many times that Flo wanted out: she was miserable. She had, however, deluded herself into thinking she was irreplaceable, and that helped do her in. Flo was the victim, but she was just as responsible for her fate as anyone else. Had she adopted Mary's attitude of going with the program, she would have stayed in the group until June 12, 1977 at Theatre Royal, Drury Lane in London, England.
